ST963 is a profiled metal roofing and cladding profile manufactured with four trapezoidal ribs of 46mm in height. Unique design enhancements stiffen the rib shape to provide industry leading resistance to both wind uplift and point load distortion. Translucent sheeting is available to match.
All Steel & Tube roofing, cladding and rainwater goods manufactured from COLORSTEEL are accredited with Environmental Choice which contributes to Homestar and Greenstar.
ST963 is manufactured in Auckland and Christchurch
Minimum pitch 3°
Superior rib strength resulting in less damage to roof during both construction and serviceable life
Groove at rib apex adds strength
46mm rib height — reduced fixing costs due to shorter screws
Steel & Tube ST963 is available in a variety of materials to suit the environment including galvanised, Zincalume and Aluminium.
Matching glass reinforced natural lighting sheets are available in trafficable, non-trafficable,thermal and condensation control and fire ratings to suit the project
A full range of matching accessories are available including ridging, underlays, safety mesh, fasteners and rainwater systems.
Limitations on Use
For structures requiring compliance with NZBC Clause E2, minimum pitch is 3°. Roof runs in excess of 80m should be checked for water run-off capacity. Provision for thermal expansion should be considered for lengths in excess of 18m in steel and 12m for other materials.

Statement of Building Code Compliance
ST963 if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the statements and conditions of the technical literature, will meet or contribute to meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:
Clause E2 External Moisture: ST963 will comply with the performance requirements of E2 when installed in accordance with E2/AS1. Alternatively, when designed in compliance with the NZ Metal Roof and Wall Cladding Code of Practice, or Steel & Tube Roofing Solutions Product Guide, ST963 will comply with Clause E2 where SLS wind loads do not exceed 3.0 kPa
Clause B1 Structure: In .40mm or .55mm steel, G550 grade (high strength) ST963 will meet the requirements of B1. Refer to the PTS
Clause B2 Durability: With normal maintenance, the requirements of Acceptable Solution B2/AS1 will be met by nominated materials as defined in New Zealand Steel Specifiers and Builders Guide June 2010. Refer to the Environmental Categories document
ST963 has been widely used on many large commercial projects around the country including the Avanti International Velodrome project in Cambridge.
