SoundDown Tranquillo Acoustic Flooring System
Description

The SoundDown Tranquillo acoustic flooring system reduces noise reflection and sound transmission as well as absorbing sound.

The pre-assembled, acoustic battens (PAB) are loose-laid over the flooring substructure to create a cavity of 60 - 158mm in height. Insulation is installed between the battens, followed by the fixing of a layer of OSB, Magendure or fibre cement. This layer secures the system and its positioning.

The floor is then ready for the final floor covering to be laid.

SoundDown supplies supplementary solutions to facilitate the installation of a level entry shower as well as specifically design FireStop battens to simplify the installation of a fire door where a SoundDown Acoustic flooring system is being installed.
