• Interior applications at fire door thresholds within SoundDown raised acoustic floor systems.
• Positioned directly on the CLT floor, between fire-rated walls and beneath the fire door leaf.
• Trim on site to length; maintain maximum 5mm gap to the fire wall and seal as specified.
• Seal interfaces: between floor and 16mm Fyreline both sides; between the fire wall and the fire stop on both sides, top and ends; typical sealant bead 5 × 10mm.
• Interfaces cleanly with adjacent SoundDown batten and topping; any residual gap to be back-filled with PEF rod and acoustic sealant.
• Door-to-floor clearances must comply with the informative guidance of NZS 4520 Appendix C for fire-resistant doorsets.

• Overall fire resistance is limited by the lowest FRR of the wall, doorset or in-floor fire stop.
• Detail requirements include a 7mm sealed joint at the Fyreline interface and maximum 5mm gaps where noted in the detail.
• Variations from the documented construction, dimensions or detailing may invalidate the assessment; install strictly in accordance with manufacturer details.

When designed and installed in accordance with SoundDown technical documentation and supported by a current engineering judgement or applicable test evidence for the specific project, the system will contribute to compliance with the NZ Building Code performance requirements of Clause C3 (Fire affecting areas beyond the source), by maintaining firecell continuity at door thresholds as part of a compliant wall and doorset assembly.
