Limitations on Use

Resco's lab benches are intended for internal use as its compact laminate panels are not colourfast in New Zealand's UV conditions.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Resco's lab benches meets the following provisions of the NZBC:

  • Clause B2 Durability: the code requires 5 years; Resco compact laminate has a 10 year guarantee on the panel.
  • Clause C Fire Safety: Resco compact laminate has a group rating of 3 which meets the surface finish requirements for C/AS1 - C/AS7.
  • Clause E3 Internal Moisture: Surfaces of building elements likely to be splashed must be impervious and easily cleaned; Resco lab benchtops meet these requirements.
  • Clause G1 Personal Hygiene: Allow effective cleaning, avoid dirt or germs and facilitate sanitation; Resco lab benchtops meet these requirements.
In-Service History

Resco has been supplying lab benches to New Zealand since 1995. Originating in Europe in 1959, compact laminate has proved popular throughout the world and is the main choice for lab benches in Europe, America, Asia and Australasia.

Other Performance Attributes
