Resco recently partnered with Plumbing World to deliver a customised toilet partitioning solution for the newly built Brightlands Childcare Centre in Hamilton. The centre needed bathroom cubicles that were practical and hygienic for young children, while also aligning with the space’s modern design aesthetic.

To meet these needs, Resco supplied and installed six Kindy Cube toilet cubicles, custom-manufactured using Marble Antibac 13mm compact laminate panels, and fitted with Resco’s new black nylon hardware — recently developed for the Kindy Cube range.

The Kindy Cube system is purpose-built for early childhood environments, offering a thoughtful balance of safety, supervision, and robust performance. For this project, cubicles were installed at a height of 1050mm, allowing clear lines of supervision while maintaining each child’s personal space.

The Kindy Cube system offers a range of key benefits designed specifically for childcare environments. Its child-safe design features hold-closed, self-closing nylon hinges, eliminating the need for locks and ensuring safe operation for young users. Built from 13mm solid core compact laminate, the system is highly durable and engineered to withstand the demands of daily preschool use. It also incorporates Resco Antibac technology, providing antibacterial protection that actively kills bacteria for the lifetime of the panel — an ideal feature for maintaining hygiene in childcare settings. The system’s smooth, rounded edges and minimal dirt traps allow for easy cleaning and sanitation.

Aesthetically, it features contemporary black nylon hinges and pedestals, offering a modern look without compromising on durability. Available nationwide, the Kindy Cube system can be either fully supplied and installed by Resco or as a kitset with detailed installation instructions. Each unit is custom-designed to suit the specific requirements of a project, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal functionality. 

The Kindy Cube system provided Brightlands Childcare with a durable, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing toilet solution designed specifically for preschoolers. The inclusion of antibacterial panels and safety-focused hardware ensures long-term usability with minimal maintenance, supporting a healthy and safe learning environment for years to come.
