Description

Quick-setting, fibre-reinforced cementitious levelling mortar for internal and external floors and walls, applied in layers from 3 to 30mm to even out irregularities.

Residual GreenHouse Gas emissions measured throughout the life cycle of this product using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, verified and certified with EPDs, have been offset for the year 2026 through the acquisition of carbon credits in support of forestry protection projects.

Key Features

Planitop Fast 330 is a grey-coloured one-component cementitious mortar made using special cementitious binders, selected aggregates, synthetic resins and special additives according to a formula developed in MAPEI’s Research & Development laboratories.
When mixed with water, it forms an easily workable mixture that can also be applied on vertical surfaces by trowel, in thicknesses between 3 and 30 mm.
Planitop Fast 330 features excellent bond to all typical substrates used in construction, with fast setting and curing times, without shrinkage and without forming cracks or fissures.
It is suitable for the subsequent laying of ceramic, glass mosaic or stone material or for applying waterproofing systems.
Planitop Fast 330 has very low emissions of VOC to protect the health of both applicators and end users, and is certified EC1 Plus by the German association GEV.
Planitop Fast 330 contributes to the achievement of important LEED credits.
Planitop Fast 330 complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 (“Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and evaluation of conformity. General principles for the use of products and systems”) and the requirements of EN 1504-2 coating (C) according to principles MC and IR (“Surface protection systems for concrete”) and is classified as GP (“General purpose mortar for internal/external render”), category CS IV according to EN 998-1.

Scope of Use

For smoothing irregular interior and exterior substrates, to quickly make them suitable for laying ceramic and stone or for waterproofing with liquid membrane or flexible cementitious systems. Thickness applied: from 3 to 30 mm.

Some application examples:

Levelling reinforced concrete surfaces in swimming pools to make them ready to receive (after just 24 hours at +20°C) Mapelastic, Mapelastic Smart, Monolastic, Mapelastic Turbo, and Mapelastic AquaDefense waterproofing systems or, after 4 hours at +20°C, for directly laying all types of ceramic and mosaic.
Smoothing and levelling clean internal and external substrates made from products normally used in the building industry, such as floor slabs and screeds made using cement or special binders (such as Topcem, Mapecem, Mapecem Pronto), and old ceramic and stone floors in order to quickly prepare them for laying (after just 4 hours at +20°C), ceramic and stone materials which are not sensitive to damp, or for applying waterproofing systems such as Mapelastic Smart, Mapegum WPS, Mapelastic AquaDefense (after just 24 hours at +20°C).
Repairing or forming slopes on terraces and balconies.

Limitations on Use

Do not add cement or admixtures to Planitop Fast 330.
Do not add more water to the mix once it has started to set in an attempt to make it workable again.
Protect the product from too rapid evaporation in hot and/or windy days.
After application, protect Planitop Fast 330 from water for at least 4 hours at +20°C and 24 hours at +5°C or in any case until hardening is complete.
Use at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Do not leave bags of Planitop Fast 330 exposed to direct sunlight before use.
Do not use on particularly flexible and deformable substrates, such as wood and wood conglomerates, metal surfaces, rubber, PVC, and linoleum.
Do not use Planitop Fast 330 if the bag is damaged.
