Description

Surround by Laminex™ is a modern range of interior wall panels that add dimension and warmth to residential and commercial projects.

Simply apply the easy-to-install, pre-primed panels onto prepared plasterboard, timber, steel, brick or masonry wall surfaces, lightly sand and finish with the paint colour of your choice.

Surround by Laminex™ can be indent ordered as a Material Group 2 Classification Fire Resistant substrate. Minimum order quantity is 30 sheets (1 pack). Key Features

Fast and easy Installation

Apply panels quickly and easily onto prepared plasterboard, timber, steel, brick or masonry wall surfaces. The decorative front is conveniently pre-primed with a water-based paint — ready to be lightly sanded and applied with chosen paint colour.

Durable craftsmanship

Surround by Laminex panels are an impact-resistant timber product. Application is intended for home areas such as hallways, bedrooms, playrooms, kitchens*, bathrooms*, laundries* and living areas. Panels are also ideal for internal wall applications across a range of commercial spaces.

*Additional preparation, sealing & painting is required. Surround by Laminex is prohibited for use in splash zones. Refer to Fabrication & Installation Manual.

MDF — Manufactured in Australia

Surround by Laminex panels are made in Australia using moisture resistant Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF).

Fire properties

Surround by Laminex is a MR E0 MDF substrate with a Material Group 3 Classification.

Limitations on Use

Surround by Laminex is ONLY suitable for interior wall panel applications. Panels are NOT suitable for the following applications:

Any external installation
Fixed to sliding doors or internal honeycomb construction doors
Areas where the moisture content is likely to be elevated for prolonged periods, such as saunas, indoor swimming pools or industrial wet areas.
Ceilings
Floors
Adhered to tiles, cork, natural stone, textiles, wallpaper, timber panelling or hardboard

Statement of Building Code Compliance

When stored, handled, installed and maintained in accordance with the Surround by Laminex Technical Information that is current at the time of installation, Surround by Laminex will meet the durability requirements of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) B2.3.1 (c) (i) & (ii) and has a serviceable life of at least 5 years in internal applications
