Description

Triton 100™ is a made in New Zealand 100mm thick high sound absorbing and thermal insulating ceiling panel.

Triton panels are available in a wide range of sizes and decorative colours, wood prints, perforated acoustic patterns and Hygiene laminates for design freedom.

Triton 100™ is designed to provide R3.0 thermal insulation and exceptional low, mid and high frequency sound absorption.

Scope of Use

Triton 100™ is ideal for thermal and acoustic upgrade of class rooms, halls and applications that require control of low frequency reverberation such as music rooms, recording studios, audiology testing rooms.

Suitable for fire exit way and all other sprinklered & non sprinklered buildings

Limitations on Use

For interior use only, and not in direct contact with water.
Not for use with negative air return plenums.
Maximum humidity/temperature 99% R/H at 45°C.
Back loading max. 1.5kg/m², point loads to be independently supported.
For 1200 x 1200mm panels use DXW wide faced grid.
For 1200 x 2400mm panels use direct fix with cover battens

B2 Durability – Clause B2.3.1 (c) (i): Asona ceiling tiles with only normal maintenance will have a minimum durability of at least 5 years when installed in accordance with; manufacturer’s installation requirements and AS/NZS 2785:2020.
C3 Fire – Clause C/AS2 4.12.1: Asona Triton 100 has a Fire Material Group Number 1-S by NZBC Building Product Specification Parts 8.5.4 or 8.5.5, tested in accordance with ISO 9705 or ISO 5660. (NCC BCA C1.10 clause 4, spec A2.4 clause 4. Group 1)
