Description

These are available in open-in and open-out formats. Doors are rated to 3.0m high. Both open-in and open-out door systems are available with integrated or coupled sidelights and overlights, with or without opening sashes. French doors have flush meeting stiles for a clean look.

For best overall performance, pair with The AGP System® with Solux-E® or Solux Ultra® low-e glass.

Door panels lap over frame for superior aesthetics, security, weather tightness and thermal performance
Open-out and open-in frames available
Sill tray and seismic frame options
Parliament hinges allow doors to open outwards a full 180° in brick veneer situations
French door locking bolts are concealed from view in the leading edge of the ‘lazy’ door panel
Overlights and sidelights are possible
A range of door handle and lock options are available, including multi-point locking.
Maximum glass thickness of 44mm IGU — compliance with NZBC clause H1 Energy Efficiency requires high performing Low-E double glazing

Suitable for broad residential use, including in apartments and buildings over 10m in height
Available in defined maximum sizes

Limitations on Use

Recommended maximum 3.0m high doors in Extra High wind zones
Care needs to be exercised in the placement of open-in doors from a weather exposure viewpoint
Compliance with NZBC clause H1 Energy Efficiency requires high performing Low-E double glazing

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Specification for Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233: Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
Conforms to all relevant NZ Building Code clauses

Other Performance Attributes

Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected. APL Architectural Series ThermalHeart+® products can have a different colour on the interior and exterior faces as an optional choice.
A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
