Description

A four-sided structural glazed, fully panellised system for low to high rise applications. Glass is adhered to the outer edge of the extrusions, reducing the visual effect of aluminium as viewed from the outside.

Opening sashes can be incorporated in the facade without interrupting the glass look. Sun control fins can be added to the outside of transoms and provide a strong horizontal decorative element.

  • The 168mm system has a thermally broken and shielded option available. The 200mm system has a thermally shielded option
  • Unobtrusive opening sashes for natural ventilation
  • Single and double glazing options, including within the same façade with retention of the glass plane
  • Sun control fins can be applied to the outside of transoms to aid solar control and accentuate the horizontal line
  • Can be used as a strip curtain wall system

Scope of Use
  • For low to high rise applications
  • Capable of a range of spans depending on aspect ratio, mullion spacing and wind pressure
  • Where thermal efficiency is a high priority, the 168mm thermally shielded system is recommended
  • Shop drawings can be supplied when specified
  • Compatible with Magnum commercial doors
Limitations on Use
  • Project-specific flashings and brackets are often required and are supplied by the window manufacturer
  • Tested to Very High wind zones and beyond but projects may require project-specific testing
  • Shop drawings can be supplied when specified
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233:  Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
  • Designed and tested to conform to NZ Building Code, including Clause E2
In-Service History
  • Launched in 2001 with later iterations introduced
  • Some design upgrades released
  • Widely used by builders and specifiers
Other Performance Attributes
  • Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
  • Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
  • A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
