Erect Safe, Reliable Scaffold with NZ WOOD's J-Planks

Peter Lowe from Auckland’s Get It Up Scaffolding has noted a difference in quality between the J-Plank from NZWOOD and products from competitors.

"I’ve found that the NZWOOD plank is just more stable. The others tend to twist and buckle, but you don’t get that with J-Plank."

With health and safety a constant concern, Peter likes knowing he can rely on J-Plank to do the job and keep his clients safe. "You can have so many issues with twisting on a scaffolding — if one plank sticks up it’s a twist hazard." Offering a superior planking product in his scaffolding means Peter's clients can work with confidence.

"With NZWOOD’s J-Plank you can see the stability of them, there’s no twisting or buckling or cupping," NZWOOD MD Bill Blackmore says, "that’s what the product was intended to do.  Building sites or where people are renovating, are dangerous places as it is. With J-Plank we can reduce those risks."

Made from high-quality laminated veneer lumber, J-Plank has been independently certified, manufactured to ASNZS 4357 standards, and independently audited by the Engineered Wood Products Association of Australasia(EWPAA).

Bill Blackmore says you can really tell the difference. "We’re proud of this product — it’s just better made, so it’s safer and also lasts much longer."

J-Plank should be installed in reference to "SARNZ Best Practice Guideline for Scaffolding".  AS1577:1995 is recommended as a guide.
