Description

Thermory Pine is a Scots Pine timber cladding procured from Scandinavian forests, that has been thermally modified.

Key Features
  • Vertical Shiplap profile 140 x 26mm compliant with the New Zealand Building code
  • Resistant to rot
  • Dimensionally stable
  • Intense modification at 215°C to remove the sugars from the timber
  • The result of the thermal modification, is that the timber has a naturally light golden brown colour throughout the full thickness of the timber, which naturally ages to a platinum grey
  • No added chemicals
  • All Thermory Pine is sourced from Scandinavia. Scandinavia is known for having the most responsible forestry practices in the world
