Fresco
Description

Porter's Fresco is a hard wearing finish designed to replicate the cool lustre of the trowelled plaster walls of ancient European buildings. Porter's Fresco gives a wonderful depth and rustic originality to interior wall surfaces and sets to an exceptionally hard finish. Porter's Fresco gives elegance and sophistication to any wall and is widely used in foyers, hotel reception areas and concert halls.

Can be sealed with Porter's Stucco Wax.

Scope of Use

Porter's Fresco is suitable for residential or commercial interiors. Can be applied to most suitably prepared plasterboard, plaster, masonry and previously painted surfaces.

Fresco is usually applied by trowel. If applying by brush a rough finish will result. It is recommended to use a professional applicator.

Drying times: Base coat should be 2-3mm thick. Allow 24hrs dry time between coats. 2-3 coats are recommended. Sanding between coats is required. Allow to dry 24hrs prior to application of Stucco Wax.

Limitations on Use

Not suitable for splash backs behind cook-tops or sinks.

If using Fresco in bathrooms, avoid contact with water. Please note that steam and condensation can damage and mark both waxed and unwaxed Fresco.
