• Minimum structural requirements for HVAC platforms is 2.5kPa or 5kPa 
• The load limit depends on the existing structure.
• The maximum height of the truss cannot exceed 1200mm. For applications over 1200mm additional engineering is required. 
• Seismic designs are not included as part of the design. If this is needed, additional engineering may be required. 
• HVAC platforms must not be installed on a roof pitch in excess of 30° without engineering sign off.
• The building structure height from the ground to the platform level is maximum 25m. 
• The safety system must be re certified by a competent height safety inspector as recommended:
  
  • Non corrosive/mild environment – 12 monthly
  • Corrosive/harsh environment – 6 monthly (more frequent inspection may be required) 

The platform and slatted system complies with:

• AS/NZS 1170.0:2002;
• AS/NZS 1170.1:2002;
• AS/NZS 1170.2:2021;
• AS/ NZS 1664.1.

The walkway system is designed to comply with:

• Australian Standard AS 1657:2018 and relevant statutory WHS codes of practice/guidelines. 

Design load is to wind region terrain category A, B and C. All details and information must be provided if different to current design categories. Existing structure to be designed and checked by others.

Warranty

• 10 years from date of purchase subject to correct installation.
• Use and maintenance to be in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.
• This excludes wearing parts.

The safety system must be re-certified by a competent height safety inspector as recommended:

• Non corrosive/mild environment — 12 monthly
• Corrosive/harsh environment — 6 monthly (more frequent inspection may be required)
