Description

Bostik Ultraset SF is a one-component, solvent-free polyurethane elastomeric adhesive designed for the installation of timber flooring. It provides a strong, durable bond with exceptional flexibility to accommodate natural timber movement, while its low odour and zero VOC formulation make it suitable for interior applications. UltraSet SF is suitable for bonding solid, engineered, parquet, bamboo and sheet timber flooring to a range of prepared substrates, including concrete and timber.

Scope of Use

Bostik Ultraset SF is designed for bonding timber flooring to prepared concrete and timber subfloors in residential and commercial interior applications.

Limitations on Use

Interior use only.
Not suitable for exterior exposure or continuous water immersion.
Do not apply to substrates affected by excessive moisture or hydrostatic pressure without an appropriate Bostik moisture barrier system.
Do not apply over contaminated, unstable or poorly bonded substrates.
Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®) or similar non-bondable plastics.
Installation must comply with the timber flooring manufacturer's instructions and the recommendations in the Bostik Technical Data Sheet.
Product performance depends on correct substrate preparation and environmental conditions.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Bostik Ultraset SF, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the information provided by Bostik New Zealand, will contribute to compliance with the following provisions of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC):

Clause B2 DURABILITY: Performance B2.3.1(c), 5 years.
Clause F2 HAZARDOUS BUILDING MATERIALS: Performance F2.3.1.
