Description

Bostik Ultraset 2in1 is a one-part, solvent-free timber flooring adhesive featuring AXIOS® Tri-Linking Polymer Technology with an integrated moisture vapour barrier. Designed for the installation of solid timber, engineered timber, parquet and bamboo flooring, it provides a high-strength, flexible bond while helping protect timber flooring from residual substrate moisture, eliminating the need for a separate moisture barrier in many applications. Ready to use with no mixing required, UltraSet 2in1 offers low odour, zero VOC emissions, and is suitable for use over concrete substrates, including underfloor heating systems.

Scope of Use

Bostik Ultraset 2in1 is designed for bonding timber flooring to prepared concrete and timber subfloors in residential and commercial interior applications, while providing an integrated moisture vapour barrier for suitable concrete substrates.

Limitations on Use

Interior use only.
Not suitable for exterior exposure or continuous water immersion.
Do not apply to substrates affected by negative hydrostatic pressure or where substrate moisture exceeds the maximum limits specified in the Bostik Technical Data Sheet.
Do not apply over contaminated, unstable or poorly bonded substrates.
Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®) or similar non-bondable plastics.
Installation must comply with the timber flooring manufacturer's instructions and the recommendations in the Bostik Technical Data Sheet.
Product performance depends on correct substrate preparation and environmental conditions.

Bostik Ultraset 2in1, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the information provided by Bostik New Zealand, will contribute to compliance with the following provisions of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC):
