Description

Bostik Ultraset 3in1 is a one-part timber flooring adhesive incorporating AXIOS® Tri-Linking Polymer Technology. It combines a high-performance wood flooring adhesive with integrated moisture vapour control and sound reduction in a single application, helping simplify installation and reduce system complexity. It provides a strong, durable and flexible bond with zero VOC emissions and is suitable for the installation of solid, engineered, parquet and bamboo timber flooring over concrete and timber substrates, including heated flooring systems.

Scope of Use

Bostik Ultraset 3in1 is designed for bonding timber flooring to prepared concrete and timber subfloors in residential and commercial interior applications, while providing an integrated moisture vapour barrier and sound reduction system for suitable concrete substrates.

Limitations on Use

Interior use only
Not suitable for exterior exposure or areas subject to continuous water immersion
Do not apply to substrates affected by excessive moisture or hydrostatic pressure beyond the limits specified in the Bostik Technical Data Sheet
Do not apply over contaminated, unstable, friable or poorly bonded substrates
Substrates must be structurally sound, clean, dry and suitably prepared prior to application
Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®) or other non-bondable plastics
Timber flooring must be installed in accordance with the flooring manufacturer's installation instructions
Underfloor heating systems must be commissioned and operated in accordance with the flooring manufacturer and Bostik recommendations
Product performance is dependent on correct substrate preparation, application methods and environmental conditions
Sound reduction performance is dependent on the complete flooring system, substrate construction and installation method

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Bostik Ultraset 3in1, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the information provided by Bostik New Zealand, will contribute to compliance with the following provisions of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC):
