Dulux Unveils New World of Colour and 2012-13 Colour Forecast

The collection features brand new vibrant bolds and soft neutrals showcased in a range of new tools.  Dulux will also launch its innovative new Intergrain range of wood stains.  From this new world of colour Dulux will present their 2012-2013 colour forecast highlighting the latest colour trends from around the world.

The launch began successfully in Auckland on Tuesday where over 280 designers sipped colourful cocktails while guest speaker, World’s Denise L’Estrange-Corbet, who is working with Dulux New Zealand to create special seasonal ranges, kicked off the whirlwind colour tour.  Denise, who is fashion’s reigning queen of colour, is passionate about New Zealanders embracing colour – in their wardrobes and in their homes:

“People tend to shy away from using colour, not because they don’t like it, but because they often don’t feel confident about using it.”

Denise, of course, is not one to shy away from colour and recommends that Kiwis use colour as much as possible in their homes: on their front doors, in their bathrooms and on their kitchen cupboards:

“Colour means so much to me. I cannot imagine life without it . . .  Without colour, our world would be a dull place to live in.”

The next ‘A new world is coming’ event is held in Christchurch at Peppers Clearwater Resort on March 7. Spaces are limited so get in quick.
