There’s nothing like the seeing your own product for the first time, especially at 8:00pm in a busy airport. 

Walking through Sydney Airport on a late autumn evening, I was tired and focused on getting to the baggage claim area until I looked up and saw the new Relay store fit out. I had forgotten about this project until my brain clicked over and realised this was our saveBOARD Multi_use product used as an internal lining.  

I got some strange looks from fellow travellers as I spent a few minutes taking photos of a shopfront, but I couldn't help being excited. 

The new retail design by RELAY was based around creating a custom Forest Green Multi-use panel to complement their vision and corporate branding. To date they have completed 14 so far in Australia and New Zealand, including Wellington Airport. 

Most travellers won't realise that this high-end finish is made from post-consumer food and beverage cartons and soft plastics. In our opinion, it looks awesome and fits the space perfectly and their new branding. 

Relay is a global icon in travel retail, with over 1,000 stores via Lagardère Travel Retail, hopefully we get to refit the remaining 1,023 stores. Seeing them work with circular materials for their fit outs is exactly the kind of progress we need. Kudos to Relay on leading by example.
