Masons Thermalcrete Waterproof Panel

The more moisture can be prevented from entering a wall cavity the better it is for building security and occupant health.

Standard AAC cladding absorbs water like a sponge and current standard practice is to protect the panel with a layer of plaster render and paint. Should the plaster and paint coating crack, water can get directly into the substrate and begin the process of irreparable and expensive building damage.

Thermalcrete is a tough, water proof substrate. If the plaster and paint barrier cracks, the water will not absorb into Thermalcrete, greatly reducing the chance of moisture damage through the substrate.

Codemark approved Thermalcrete also has other key benefits. The outer skin is 71% stronger than standard AAC panel, it has higher soundproofing capabilities and an insulated core to maximise the thermal efficiency of a building, and features a unique interlocking ystem to simplify the building process.
