Alsynite’s Laserlite Industrial Polycarbonate sheeting is manufactured from Bayer Makrolon polycarbonate resin, it is a state-of-the-art product with a number of impressive features.

Laserlite Industrial Polycarbonate has been designed with safety in mind. As fire engineers in New Zealand are now implementing translucent polycarbonate roof panels for smoke and heat venting in commercial building this product has found a place in the market. AlsyniteIndustrial Polycarbonate has a low melt and softening points, making it ideal for use in buildings where translucent sheeting is required to melt out in the event of a fire, enabling smoke and toxic gases to escape.

With its co-extruded UV protective barrier, Laserlite Industrial Polycarbonate sheeting admits excellent natural light and provides protection against 99 per cent of harmful UV radiation. It is  extremely durable; 250 times stronger than glass, highly shock resistant and capable of withstanding numerous chemicals.

The product can be used both for entire roof coverings over outdoor areas and can also be incorporated into profiled metal roofing and cladding systems.
