StoTherm for Timber / Steel Frame
Description

StoTherm Armat Insulation System and StoTherm Vario Insulation Systems are cavity-based Exterior Insulation and Finishing System (EIFS) wall claddings, incorporating a drainage cavity between the interior and exterior claddings. Both Systems Consisting of 40 to 100mm and over thick EPS StoTherm Panels or StoTherm+ Panels which increase R-values by up to a further 20% for better energy efficiency. The system has been designed with minimal thermal conductivity and thermal bridging.

Installations are carried out by a Sto Registered Licensed Building Practitioner with the added protection of a StoArmat 15 or 20+ Year Warranty and StoService Assurance, guaranteeing building code compliant materials are used and application meets building code standards, including a service plan for long-term security.

StoTherm Vario System:

Consists of EPS StoTherm Panels fixed with fitting bonds over cavity battens. Level-Uni, a European manufactured white mineral plaster with good adhesion properties is applied with Sto mesh. The façade is then finished with the perfect interlocking components: StoLit finishing render plus a StoCoating of choice.

StoTherm Armat System:

Consists of EPS StoTherm Insulation Panels fixed with fitting bonds over cavity battens. The panels are base-coated and levelled to provide a thick solid plaster base for additional reinforcement, StoArmat plaster plus StoMesh. StoArmat is cement-free, ready-to-use, high elasticity plaster, providing maximum crack and shock resistance. While the Glass fibre mesh is an alkali-resistant reinforcing mesh with absolutely uniform force absorption and reliably dissipates tensile and shear stress. The façade is then finished with the perfect interlocking components: StoLit finishing render plus a StoCoating of choice.
