Bradford Enviroseal ProctorWrap HT-X
Description

Bradford Enviroseal ProctorWrap HT-X is a reinforced, self-supporting vapour-permeable construction membrane.

It is constructed from a white, UV stabilised tear resistant 3-ply fire retardant spun bonded polyolefin membrane with reinforcement scrim for use in commercial and residential roofing applications up to NZ wind zone ‘extra high’.

HT-X offers a combination of high tensile strength and high water holdout without compromising vapour permeability to help protect the building fabric and insulation from condensation and related problems such as mould, timber rot, corrosion and loss of thermal resistance.

Key Features
  • High water hold-out
  • Highly vapour permeable
  • Soft facings reduce flapping noise
  • High tensile and nail tear strength
  • Self-supporting
  • White fabric reflects light
Scope of Use
  • Enviroseal ProctorWrap HT-X is intended as an alternative to conventional kraft paper roof underlays.
  • Designed as an underlay under metal, tile and slate roofs, as well as wall and gable applications.
  • HT-X should be laid under the roofing material and above the insulation to form a continuous membrane over the entire roof area, allowing any water to drain down to the gutters.

Enviroseal ProctorWrap HT-X has been appraised for use as a self-supporting roof underlay on buildings within the following scope:

  • the scope limitations of NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 Paragraph 1.1 with regards to building height and floor plan area; and,
  • with masonry tile roof cladding; and,
  • with metal tile and profiled metal roof cladding; and,
  • situated in NZS 3604 Wind Zone up to, and including Extra High.

The BRANZ Appraisal is an Alternative Solution in terms of NZBC compliance.

Limitations on Use

Although Enviroseal ProctorWrap HT-X can be used as temporary protection during construction, it cannot be used as a primary waterproofing membrane. Ensure that Enviroseal ProctorWrap HT-X is covered by the primary roofing material as soon as possible and is not left exposed for longer than 7 days.
