Hot Dip Galvanising — Commercial Building Canopies
Description

Perry Metal Protection offer Hot Dip Galvanising of Commercial Building Canopies suitable for warehousing-style applications. Galvanising Steel is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is needed without the additional cost of on-site painting and expensive touch-ups caused by installation.

Batch hot dip galvanising provides Corrosion protection of steel by providing a thick, metallic envelope which completely covers the steel and seals it from the corrosive action of the environment. Metallic Zinc is strongly resistant to the corrosive action of normal environments and hot dip galvanising therefore provides long term protection for steel.

Key Features
  • Steel beams up to 18 metres long
  • All canopy sizes can be accommodated — Perry Metal Protection have the expertise in designing to fit inside the galvanising kettle
  • Proven life cycles before first maintenance, as per 2312 standard guide to the protection of structural steel corrosion against atmospheric corrosion by use of protective coating
  • Thicker coatings, paint systems over galvanising and an architectural finish can be achieved if Perry Metal Protection are consulted during the design phase of the canopy structure
Scope of Use
  • Suitable for warehouse-style commercial buildings:
    • Industrial buildings
    • Commercial and retail buildings
