AGC Pyrobel Fire-resistant Glass
Description

AGC Pyrobel is an industry-leading, fire-rated glazing system for facades, glass walls, and firedoors. Pyrobel fire-resistant glazing is laminated glass with transparent intumescent interlayers capable of delivering fire protection for 30 to 180 minutes.

Pyrobel has a similar appearance to standard laminated glass, due to its high level of flatness and the transparency of its intumescent interlayers. Suitable for single internal glazing, glazing with a UV filter (EG) and double or triple glazing units (IGU) in combination with other certified glass products.

Pyrobel products are tested and approved for timber, steel and aluminium framing systems, and extensively tested in doors, partitions and curtain walls.

AGC Pyrobel products are developed in Europe to stringent EU regulations that test fire resistance and reaction to fire, and their ability to act as a flame barrier and block heat transfer. The Pyrobel range complies with all relevant New Zealand fire safety codes. Safety glass compliant with EN 12600 according to product type.
