Smartwood Bi-Fold Windows
APL Specifier Guide available Order now

Smartwood bi-folds have the same frame as the bi-folding door but with a narrower rail. The rolling gear sits outside the sash and allows easy cleaning at the sill.

Configurations are generally supplied in even panel numbers. Over-lights are possible.

Key Features
  • The Smartwood bi-fold window system is bottom rolling for optimum panel support
  • It uses the bi-fold door frame and track but the panels have smaller rails and stiles
  • A minimum panel width of 650mm applies
  • Smartwood bi-fold windows are generally supplied in multiples of two i.e. 2-panel, 4-panel, 6-panel (free-swinging third panels are not recommended in bi-fold window applications)
  • A PVC thermal insulator between the aluminium and timber cladding prevents condensation transfer and enhances thermal performance
