Description

Academia offers a carpet tile solution perfect for the education sector. It's been specially manufactured from hard wearing stain-proof SDX fibre, and Ecobac (bitumen) backing which makes it perfect for seated comfort, and long-term performance. Academia has a 15 year heavy duty use commercial warranty and is available in seven unique colours, making it ideal for education settings.

Scope of Use

Suitable in heavy traffic commercial areas including schools, hallways, and multi-purpose halls
Suitable in access routes
Suitable on underfloor heating (up to 27°C)

Limitations on Use

Interior use only
Not suitable for installation within 1.5m of a sanitary fixture or sanitary appliance
Must be installed by a qualified installer
Must be installed to industry best practice guidelines
Must be installed with specified adhesive
Must be maintained in line with Belgotex care and maintenance guidelines

B2.3.1(c): Academia is manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System and meets the minimum durability requirement of 5 years
C3.4(b): Academia is tested to ISO 9239-1 standard and achieves a CRF of 8.6kW/m²
D1.3.3(d): Academia has acceptable slip resistance when used in level access routes, slopes, and stairs as per D1/AS1 Table 2
