Description

Bjelin L is an exceptionally durable European hardened timber floor empowered by the patented Woodura™ technology, which creates a water and dent resistant surface and makes the panels three times stronger. Together with the leakproof 5G Dry™ floor locking system and the moisture-resistant Compositek wood core, these floors can last for generations. Produced with high-quality, responsibly sourced FSC-certified wood, all raw materials are used optimally, creating a more sustainable wood floor.

Bjelin L comes in two grading options — Nature and Select. Nature brings the beauty of the outdoors inside, providing an authentic wooden look; Select is clean and harmonious, with few whole knots and colour variations.

Limitations on Use

Interior use only
Must be installed by a qualified installer
Installation to be undertaken to Bjelin Installation Instructions and industry best practice guidelines
Must be maintained in line with Bjelin Care & Maintenance Guidelines
Substrate must have 75% or less relative humidity
For floating installations, flooring must be laid over foam underlay with compression strength of ≥ 60 kPa

Statement of Building Code Compliance

B2.3.1(c): Bjelin L is manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System and meets the minimum durability requirement of 5 years
C3.4(b): Bjelin L has been tested against ISO 9239-1 standard achieving a CRF of 8.0 kW/m²
D1.3.3(d): Bjelin L achieves a COF of 0.80 when tested to AS 4586 Appendix B and can be used for level and sloping access routes, including stairs, expected to remain dry under normal use. It also achieves an SRV of 43 when tested to AS 4586 Appendix A, making it acceptable for use in level access routes expected to remain wet under normal use.
E3.3.3, E3.3.5: Bjelin L has an impervious surface and joint system when installed floating or glued directly to the substrate, as established by moisture resistance testing to ISO 4760:2022
