Description

The AGP System® with Solux-E® + Tint or Solux-Ultra® + Tint is a factory-assembled double-glazed unit that combines a warm-edge ATS-Architectural Thermal Spacer®, argon gas, Low-E coating and body tinted substrate to create an airtight, durable insulating glass unit (IGU).

Introducing a Grey, Bronze or Green body tinted glass offers benefits such as reduced solar heat gain and glare, additional protection from damaging UV-rays which can cause fading and enhanced privacy.

For best overall window or door performance, pair The AGP System® with Solux-E® + Tint or Solux-Ultra® + Tint with thermally efficient frames such as APL's ThermalHeart+® available through the Vantage, Altherm & First manufacturer network.

All building types located below 800m altitude
NZS 3604 wind zones up to and including Extra High
Specific Engineering Design wind pressures up to 10.0kPa ULS and 10.0kPa SLS

Must be installed into an APL Window System and strictly in accordance with APL manufacturing pack glazing details or AGP written instructions.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

When designed, specified, installed and maintained as outlined The AGP System® with Solux-E® + Grey or Solux-Ultra® + Grey will comply with, or contribute to compliance with, the following NZ Building Code clauses:

B1 Structure: B1.3.1, B1.3.2, B1.3.3, B1.3.4
B2 Durability: B2.3.1(b). Testing/QA to BS EN 1279 parts 1–4 and 6 as referenced
E2 External Moisture: E2.3.1, E2.3.2, E2.3.7
F2 Hazardous Building Materials: F2.3.1–F2.3.3
F4 Safety from Falling: Per NZS 4223.3 clause 21 where applicable
G7 Natural Light: G7.3.1, G7.3.2
H1 Energy Efficiency: H1.3.1, H1.3.2, H1.3.3; R-values R0.17–R0.91 achievable depending on window/door type, dimensions and IGU type per H1/AS1 or H1/VM1 methods

Warranty & Maintenance

12-year IGU warranty - two years longer than industry standard.
Please see attached AGP Warranty document.
Clean per AGP guidance; clear drainage holes; clean at least every 3 months.
