Description

LASERGLAZE is a profiled polycarbonate roofing system designed for pergolas, patios, verandas, carports and other open sided outdoor living structures. The system provides a glass like appearance and is installed directly to supporting rafters without glazing bars.

Scope of Use
  • Suitable for pergolas, patios, verandas, carports and similar outdoor living structures
  • Suitable for residential and light commercial applications where natural light transmission is desired
  • Suitable for installation throughout New Zealand subject to project specific design requirements
  • Suitable for installation on timber framing designed in accordance with NZS 3604 or specific engineering design
  • Suitable for roof pitches of 5° or greater
  • Suitable for open sided structures where full weathertightness is not required
Limitations on Use
  • Not intended for enclosed habitable buildings requiring a fully weathertight roofing system
  • Installation must be carried out in accordance with Alsynite One installation requirements
  • Supporting structure must be designed for the applicable wind and loading conditions
  • Roof access should be limited to maintenance activities using appropriate access equipment
  • Do not walk directly on sheets
  • Fixings must allow for thermal expansion and contraction of the polycarbonate sheeting

When designed, specified and installed in accordance with Alsynite One technical literature, LASERGLAZE may contribute to compliance with the following New Zealand Building Code clauses:

LASERGLAZE is the current generation of the established Custom Glaze profiled polycarbonate roofing system. Profiled polycarbonate roofing systems of this type have been widely used throughout New Zealand for pergolas, patios, verandas, carports and outdoor living structures for many years.
