To achieve this successfully space heating was provided by a wood burner in the large lower level, under floor heating in the bathroom and 1 x TDE11 fin and 1 x TDE7 electric low consumption radiators from Farho was installed in the upper level bedrooms.

The domestic hot water was provided by the Stiebel Eltron WWK300A heat pump water heater with a 300 litre storage cylinder.
