Smartwood Hinged & French Doors

Description

Hinged doors are available in open-in and open-out formats. Bottom rails are larger than top rails and can be doubled in height for a true hinged door or French door of classic proportions.

French doors have rebated meeting stiles for a flush internal and external face. Optional sightline adaptors are available for sidelights.

  • French door flush bolts are concealed from view in the leading edge of the 'lazy' door panel
  • Parliament hinges are available which allow recessed doors to open a full 180º if preferred

Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233:  Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
  • Designed and tested to conform to NZ Building Code, including Clause E2

Other Performance Attributes
  • Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
  • Smartwood products need sealing after installation with an appropriate finish e.g. oiled, varnished, stained or painted; regular care and restoration recommended
  • Aluminium surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
  • A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
