Energie Eco XL Solar Thermodynamic Large Volume Water Heating
Description

An Energie Eco XL large volume water heating system is designed to heat water for commercial or industrial use. The Energie Eco XL system can heat up to 6,000 litres of water, and sized according to the business needs.

The system consists of a solar block, 1 or 2 stainless steel hot water cylinders, and either 6, 12, 16, 28 or 40 aluminium thermodynamic solar panels, which are externally mounted on the roof, wall or ground.

Power consumption ranges from 1.2kW for a 6 panel system (which will heat 1,000 litres of water for up to 22 people) to 8.4kW for a 40 panel system (which will heat 6,000 litres of water for up to 135 people).

Limitations on Use

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Energie Eco XL systems, if designed, used, installed and maintained in accordance with the statements and conditions of the technical literature, will meet or contribute to meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:

  • Clause G12: Water supplies

Warranty and Maintenance

  • 5 year warranty on cylinder
  • 10 year warranty on solar panel
  • Maintenance is almost non-existent
