Description

Switchboard mounted Arc Fault Protection Device (AFDD) for fire protection.

Key Features
  • Electrical arc detection which isolates circuits before flame appears
  • Voltage: 230/240 VAC
  • Reliable technology – can distinguish between abnormal arcs that could lead to fire and normal arcs that appear at the opening of switches or during the operation of electrical motors
  • Simplicity – can be installed instead of an MCB
  • Compatible – with existing residual current devices
  • 32mm wide AFDD + MCB reduces space in switchboard

Scope of Use

Particularly suitable for protecting circuits where the risk of fire is highest:

  • Bedroom and living room socket circuits which are live, unattended power outlets
  • Circuits susceptible to be damaged (surface mounted, outdoor etc.)
