Description

Resene Broadwall 3 in 1 is designed for use over stopped and jointed wall systems in place of traditional surfacers and sealers. It equalises surface porosities; smoothes minor surface irregularities; minimises textural differences; and provides a perfect base for subsequent Resene finishes. A key element to achieving a level 5 finish on paperfaced plasterboard. Suitable for use as a surfacer, sealer and finish coat on ceilings in dry areas.

Scope of Use

Air-dry (polymer based) stoppings and finishing compounds
Gypsum based stoppings and finishing compounds
Paperfaced plasterboard
Timber, reconstituted timber products

Limitations on Use

Not designed to fill large gaps or cracks (use an appropriate stopping or finishing compound).
Not designed to block waterborne stains.
Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or when it is liable to drop below 10°C during the drying period.
Resene Broadwall 3 in 1 is designed to be overcoated on broadwall areas.
Not recommended for exterior use.
Must be sealed in wet areas before topcoating.
In critical lighting situations imperfections in board installation and stopping may not be totally overcome.
