Maxi Drive Pivot System
Description

Louvretec's Maxi Drive Pivot system, allows for motorisation of the 300mm Maxi Louvres.

Maxi Drive hides both the motor and pivot mechanism within the structural aluminium support frame. 

RL300 and RL450 Louvres are also compatible with the Maxi Drive Pivot system.

Scope of Use
  • Can be used for sun shading, wind break, privacy and as a stunning architectural feature
  • Suitable for coastal, inland, snow, residential, commercial installation
  • Louvres can be installed horizontally, vertically or at an angle and can be motorised, manually adjustable (Spiral Pivot system) or fixed (end or bracket).
  • The Maxi Drive pivot system allows for rotation of large Maxi sized Louvres
Limitations on Use
  • Louvre spans are restricted by wind zone. Refer relevant table in Louvretec 2025 Design Manual
  • Louvres cannot be used as a weather proofing solution to a building
  • Supporting structures over 10m high may require specific engineering
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Engineered to meet relevant AS/NZS standards.
  • All extrusions manufactured in an ISO quality assured environment to AS1866 & AS3902 standards.
  • Louvre spans set out in Section 10.3 of the Louvretec 2025 Design Manual and meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1170:2011, NZS3604:2011, AS/NZ 1664:1997.
  • Refer to Louvretec Engineering section and PS1 with regard to B1 & B2.

Louvrecare is Louvretec's valet and maintenance division. Louvrecare 'Care and Maintenance Department' was established more than 15 years ago & exists to ensure your louvres remain in optimal condition.
