Description

Thermakraft 215 Building Paper is a bitumenous self supporting wall and roof underlay for use in residential or commercial walls and roofs.

High water resistance provides for temporary weather protection prior to installation of cladding and acts as a secondary layer of water protection during its serviceable life.

  • Reduces wind entry into wall and roof cavities, assisting performance of thermal insulation
  • Highly water vapour permeable, allowing excess vapour to escape
  • Provides temporary protection until external cladding is applied

Scope of Use
  • Suitable as a roof and wall underlay with all cladding types, where fire retardancy is not required
  • Can be used as an air barrier
Limitations on Use
  • Must not be left exposed for more than 7 days. Cladding on the same day is recommended
  • If Fire Retardancy (FI<5) is required use Thermakraft CoverTek 407
Statement of Building Code Compliance

Complies with NZBC E2/AS1 table 23 as an Acceptable Solution for use on roof and wall systems.
