Darker colours heat up in the sun and can cause problems with expansion and contraction of the surface and for this reason XRV Insulated Panel restrict colour depth  to a LRV of 25% or more for guarantee purposes.

Masons Thermalcrete Lightweight Concrete Panel System has been evaluated by Certmark as meeting the following provisions of the NZ Building Code:
