Lunawood Thermowood® is a premium thermally modified certified Nordic Pine, which is enhanced by the thermal modification process. Making it more durable, aesthetically beautiful, and a long lasting alternative to other species. The thermo heat and steam treatment process respects the natural properties of the timber and uses no chemicals.
Thermo-modification entails the timber being heat treated at 212°C. The treatment process permanently changes the chemical and physical properties of the timber; resulting in the weather resistant timber with a rich medium brown tone.
Lunawood Cladding must be installed in accordance with CodeMark certified JSC Cladding System literature.
Lunawood weatherboards are 18.5mm thick and are available in the following profiles:
Profiles are available in random lengths and with a band-sawn face. Other profiles, finishes, and sizes may be available on a case by case basis.
