The Sensuality of Natural Stones

Natural stone is an integral part of Cosentino’s diverse offering of architectural surfaces. Known as Sensa and Scalea, the collections include some of the most exclusive varieties of natural stone in the world, including marble, granite and quartzites.

Sensa colours such as Taj Mahal, Vancouver, Platino and Sant Angelo are sourced from Brazil and India, and then treated with the Senguard NK anti-stain protection patented by Cosentino. Senguard NK offers excellent resistance against aggressive substances and acids, making benchtops and vanities easy to maintain on a daily basis. The uniqueness of the stone’s natural colours, veining and pattern is preserved, ensuring a glamorous aesthetic, with the added reassurance of a 15-year warranty.

Sensa stone can complement any modern or classical design, from kitchen to bathroom, and from floor to wall. No two slabs are the same. Sensa’s Platino, a moody, atmospheric quartzite from Brazil, is grey with distinctive veins in a leather finish. Taj Mahal comes in both polished and leathered finishes and is one of the international brand’s most popular colours. Vancouver, a Brazilian quartzite, features veins spanning thick, narrow, wide, intertwined and separated, creating a beautifully unique pattern. Sant Angelo, a granite sourced from India, has a light background, grey veins and a smooth finish.

Scalea also offers all the benefits of natural stone and endless possibilities in terms of colour, texture, shape, and size. It can be used for flooring, cladding, and furniture to create unique spaces. Scalea’s Super White, Super White Calacatta and Venato Carrara are popular for their strong patterns and toughness.
