Opening Roofs are generally installed horizontally overhead. Can be installed on an angle. Can be an irregular shape(refer Louvretec™design office)and can be motorized or manually adjustable using the Louvretec Spiral™Pivot system.
The Spiral pivot system allows for 180° rotation of the louvres.
Louvre/Beam/Post spans , as per tables 1&2, section 12 of the Louvretec Product Catalogue, are certified by Markplan Consulting Limited(Consulting Structural Engineers) and meets the requirements of AS/NZS 1170:2011, NZS3604:2011, AS/NZ 1664:1997.
Limitations on Use
Louvre/Opening Roof spans are restricted by wind zone. Refer relevant table in Louvretec Product catalogue.
Minimum depth of frame is required. Refer Louvretec design office.
Opening Roofs cannot be used as a weather proofing solution to a building.
Supporting structures over 10m high may require specific engineering.

The Louvretec 180 Classic Opening Roof has been part of the Louvretec range since 1997 being used in residential and commercial applications in New Zealand. Off shore it has been used in Australia and many other countries including the Netherlands, Tahiti, Fiji, Hong Kong and the United States (California).
