EBOSS is a library of product catalogues from 232 of New Zealand's leading architectural product suppliers. Products in the EBOSS library contain scope of use, limitations and building code compliance information, case studies, plus product literature like drawings, CAD and BIM, warranties, appraisals and more.
As the opportunities of the Internet became apparent, designers and technicians started to look online for architectural products and technical details. EBOSS was formed in 2006 to digitally replicate the product library of a traditional architectural practice — providing users with access to digitised product catalogues from New Zealand's leading product suppliers.
In 2009 EBOSS launched its flagship online magazine, EBOSSNOW — publishing monthly product profiles and project case studies — as well as a network of technical expert blogs called Detailed.
