Toilet Partitions for Ignite Architects, Auckland

KerMac was asked to provide one of its latest floor-mounted designs made in Laminex New Graphite 30mm prefinished board.

As with any type of renovation, there were challenges in meeting the specification requirements set down.

“We found we were unable to attach stabilising steel rods to wooden floors as this Floor Mounted Toilet Cubicle System is suited for concrete floors only," explained Kerry McAuliffe, Kermac Industries' Managing Director.  "We addressed this by making the cubicles higher and adding a head-rail section wall to wall.”

KerMac also added closing hairs to all its flush doors to provide total privacy within the cubicles.  Panel jointer sections were recently redesigned to create a cleaner joint where boards meet, giving a neater appearance overall.

KerMac is committed to providing answers for specific build requirements in relation to toilet partition design and fabrication and, where required, uses low emission board supplied by Laminex NZ to promote low emission workplaces.
