Louvretec's newest and most economical opening roof — the Suburban Express Freestanding Opening Roof — is currently being trialed in Auckland. 

Being freestanding and hand operated by an easy-turn gearbox, this system is ideal as a standalone option for landscaped areas or around spa/swimming pool areas. It can also be fitted to a deck next to any building without having to actually fix or connect to the building. A motorised option with optional rain sensor is also available.

This modular designed system is manufactured as a flat-pack with short turnaround time and is an ideal entry level Louvretec Opening Roof. The system features hand operable, 200mm wide aluminium louvre blades along with a Louvretec frame, gutters and four aluminium posts.

Suburban Express comes with a full Louvretec warranty, and is available with a colour choice from the new Dulux Duralloy +PLUS range powder coat colours. This range carries a 15 year durability and colour fastness warranty.

Also as a first, Suburban Express will be available with full instructions for a builder or competent homeowner to install themselves instead of Louvretec installers.
