Sigmashield 880

A two component, high build epoxy coating.

Sigmashield 880 is a tintable epoxy coating that has outstanding resistance to sea water and will provide long term protection to steel with a single application.

  • Resistant to well designed cathodic protection
  • Suitable on wet blast or ultra high pressure water (UHPWW) cleaned substrates (damp or dry)
Scope of Use

Sigmashield 880 is used as a single application finish coat on steel that will be immersed in fresh water, sea water or soil - examples for use include buried or partially buried steelwork in sub ground car parks / basements, piles, bridges, lift shafts, wharves, pipelines.

Sigmashield 880 may also be applied to concrete swimming pools, floors and paths or areas where good abrasion resistance is required.

Available in black and yellow. Custom colours on request.

Limitations on Use

Epoxy coatings will characteristically chalk and fade on exposure to sunlight.

Custom colours can only be used as a topcoat.
