HT Green — 300 Micron Polyethylene Concrete Underlay

HT Green is a Super Hi-Strength Concrete Underlay rated "Heavy Duty". This tear resistant Polyethylene film that has been extruded using special resins to promote tough properties within the membrane.

Scope of Use
  • HT Green is designed for floors that would potentially be down for longer periods than what a normal floor would take prior to concreting to allow more durability for extra foot traffic and is an added extra precaution for the architect or builder
  • HT Green must be installed to E2/AS1 10.3.3. Damp Proof Membranes, and must be laid on a properly prepared base as required by NZS3604:1990.E8.2
  • HT Green may be used to cover ground areas under suspended timber floors to prevent the rise of dampness
  • HT Green must be inspected for tears and penetrations
Limitations on Use

Use to cover ground areas under suspended timber floors to prevent the rise of dampness:

  • Ensure that the site is clear of rubbish, sharp edges such as rocks or bricks
  • Slit and patch around jack studs or pipe work
  • All joints must be taped with Masons Black 48mm PVC tape
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • According to Mason's, HT Green Super Hi-Strength Concrete Underlay meets the performance requirements of NZBC Clauses B2, Durability B2.3.1[a] 50 years and B2.3.1(b) 15 years, E2 External Moisture.
  • Exceeds the high-impact resistant film test AS1326:1972(IR3), and is manufactured with premium resins to achieve higher strength 
  • Is branded and complies with (A) AS2879:1995, 5.3.3 vapour barrier for concrete underlays
