Description

Metro Series ThermalHEART hinged doors have 44mm-thick panels and are available in open-out and open-in formats. The frames have flat faces and can be coupled with sidelights and over-lights.

French doors have rebated meeting stiles for a clean, flush look. There are a range of thermally efficient aluminium entrance doors that can be used in conjunction with the Metro Series ThermalHEART door frame.

Maximum 2400mm high doors in Very High wind zones
ThermalHEART products are Ideal for jobs where minimising the transfer of cold and reducing condensation are priorities
Rebated meeting stiles give a flush appearance where French doors overlap and provide superior weathering
Open-out and open-in frames available
Parliament hinges allow doors to open outwards a full 180º in brick veneer situations
Maximum 32mm IGU
Overlights and sidelights are possible

Intended for mainstream residential projects in larger sizes
Single panels ideal as utility doors

Limitations on Use

Open-in frame available but open-out applications will generally be preferred for utility and French doors

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233: Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
Designed and tested to conform to NZ Building Code, including Clause E2

In-Service History

Launched in 2007
Widely used in residential projects throughout New Zealand by homeowners, builders, Group home builders and specifiers

Other Performance Attributes

Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
