A variety of wood species and bending technologies means that Woodform can literally be flexible in its work. Timbers available range from FSC certified through to legally sustainable species, sourced from New Zealand or worldwide, and can be chosen to complement other exterior features and materials such as concrete or metal. Woodform works with specifiers to discuss both species and their bending attributes, choosing the products most suitable for each project.
Woodform’s production capabilities allow multiple components to be manufactured economically (up to 300 units per hour), or one-off designs can be produced to achieve the specified requirements. Both curved and straight components can exist within the same piece. Recent projects the company has been involved in include outdoor furniture installed at Auckland’s Aotea Square and Viaduct Harbour, and in Manukau and Christchurch cities.
