Window Sealing System For New Zealand Conditions

An example is Thermakraft’s Aluband window sealing system – a polymeric faced, bituminous, self adhesive tape with a release backing film. Not only was it the first of its kind on mass in the marketplace here, but it is specially formulated for New Zealand conditions.

This is especially true in regards to adhesion. Similar products used overseas are made specifically to suit one season, but Aluband has superior tack for both our winter and summer temperatures.

The company’s orange corner moulds, made from inert polyethylene, are another first in New Zealand, providing extra protection in a building’s most vulnerable spots.

When Aluband is used in conjunction with Thermakraft’s Watergate Plus wall underway, Thermakraft is able to provide an impressive 50-year guarantee.
