USG Boral Acoustical Ceiling Tiles Achieve 1-S

All acoustical tiles provide a fire reaction 1-S rating in compliance with NZBC Verification Method C/VM2, Appendix A, ensuring they can be specified for any ceiling at this or lesser levels.

This highest rating therefore allows the designer to select the most appropriate tile for acoustical control, aesthetics, healthcare, robustness, and even for actual fire rated acoustical ceilings.

Available in standard sizes and three edge details, they combine with New Zealand manufactured USG Boral DONN Brand seismic grid systems for full system 30 year Warranties.

Mars ClimaPlus Ceiling Panels, if installed and maintained in accordance with the technical literature, will meet the provisions of Clause C3.4 (a) of the NZBC.

USG acoustical ceiling panels have been the subject of reports by BRANZ to ascertain their performance in compliance with the NZBC Verification method C/VM2 Appendix A for the Classification of Fire Performance of Wall and Ceiling Lining Materials. All panels achieve a Group 1-S rating. Full copies of the individual Test Reports - FH 3622/ FAR 2781/ FAR 4030 - are available on request.
